With the hard shell circumferential protection the Body Armor^® Walker II can be used like a cast. Leverage fastener similar to ski boot buckles are attached directly at the shell and controls compression and immobilisation. Two insoles can be taken out for further rework and off-loading. An additional (protection) plate at the heel increases the stabilization of the foot enormously.
